Choosing the Right Workshop For Your School / College

Our aim is to work around the needs of your school and pupils, and ensuring that fun is had too. We have worked with many schools in London and the South East since we began in 1997, from small village schools to large inner city schools.

Key Stage Groups and Session Durations

We cover EYFS through to Secondary School.  Each workshop matches each stage of development.

EYFS cope best with shorter sessions lasting a maximum of 30 minutes.

KS1 and KS2 generally can handle longer sessions lasting between 45 minutes to an hour.

KS3 and KS4 can usually handle more within the sessions, but the session duration remains at an hour.

We ask that no more than 30 pupils attend each session and where possible, are supported by a TA or teacher.  This can be increased with staff support.

You can book a half or full day.  We can usually cover the whole school (if a single year entry) in a full day workshop.

You can have as many days as you like, and we offer a multi-booking discount.

Music and Workshop Materials Provided

Optional Sharing at the end of the Workshop

Half day workshops are great if your school is looking for one or two year groups to take part. The workshops will give your pupils a chance to explore the chosen dance style or theme.

A combination of full and half days can be booked and where possible a multi booking discount can be offered.

Full Day Workshop

Both Morning & Afternoon

1 Workshop Leader

Music and Workshop Materials Provided

Optional Sharing at the end of the Workshop

Full day workshops works best if you require more sessions per day to accommodate the number of pupils in your school.

Dance Days cover all Key Stages and each session is tailored as such.

We will work with you to design a timetable that suits your needs.  We can adapt the duration of the sessions or adapt the groups to fit in with you and/or your school/college day.

After School Workshops

Workshops run weekly during term time with the same format as residency sessions.

Collaborations (for full time residencies only)

These take place once workshops are under way and are where one school’s pupils visit another and participate in a workshop together.   They are aimed to give the participants the experience of working with others whom they have not met, as well as the sharing/teaching of work.

Transport must be arranged by the schools involved.
