My experience was amazing and very exciting for me because I got to work with professionals and people from other schools. It was also a learning experience for me.
What I enjoyed most was the fact that we had to do our own dances. It was really fun for me since I hadn’t done anything like it before. After each dance it made me eager to make up more things even if we didn’t have to.
It was a great feeling to know that all of the dance we performed at the Young Vic was our own material, and we had worked hard into making it what it was.
I would like to work with Secondary School pupils again to see how to behave so that I can copy how they behave.
I now know how to be nice to people.

Booked for my daughter's 7th Birthday party. The host choreographed a fab routine to one of my daughter's favourite songs for the girls to learn throughout the party and incorporated some games as well. My daughter and her friends had a fab time so thank you, and the parents loved the routine at the end too"

The workshop was of a very high standard which the boys at my school benefited from and also really enjoyed. I would have no problem recommending CON:FUSION to other schools.
The whole school community was very impressed with the quality of performance given by CON:FUSION and with the way you enabled the group of children to perform skilfully and with confidence. The benefits of the day have since been evident in terms of a renewed interest in dance and enhanced self-esteem of the children who worked with you throughout the day. I very much enjoyed the ‘Ancient Dreams’ performance at the Young Vic. It was particularly interesting having seen some of the work at an earlier stage. All performers had clearly put so much into it and the outcome was a powerful performance.
Throughout the entire workshop, CON:FUSION were highly professional, developed an excellent rapport with the students and had a flexible, easy going approach whilst retaining complete control. I cannot praise the company enough; they are enthusiastic, exciting dancers that are able to motivate others – not only the students but the teachers that often struggle with dance. They have excellent communication skills with all age groups and are meticulously well prepared.
The young people involved seemed to have gained a lot from the experience, not just in terms of dance and choreography, but all those other skills that are learned from such an exercise, such as commitment, team playing, discipline, confidence, the ability to research background and so forth. I enjoyed the Ancient Dreams performance immensely. I was really impressed at how competent the dancers were, and the skills that they had gained through the project really shone through. The message of the Native Americans life was clear and I hope that the young people are really proud of their achievements. Marnie is a fabulous, non-judgemental and welcoming teacher. In the past 5 months she has helped me listen to my body when getting back into dance after a 10 year gap (very little exercise / dancing)
In this time I have grown in confidence, shifted a fair amount of weight and raised my happiness levels :) The classes are suitable to any age and ability. Highly recommend! 💃🕺

Confidence for dancing has been zero for years now. Finally feel it coming back.
The passion for dance had been inside, just been unable to outwardly express it. This is a HUGE milestone.

Fabulous classes The atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming and Marnie is an excellent teacher. I particularly enjoy the stretching that we do at the end of each class, it is very relaxing... I would definitely recommend it to anyone who would like to have some fun and learn some dance moves at the same time!
I first met Marnie on my hen, we had the best day doing the Bollywood dance class.
Marnie then came to my wedding and we all did the dance we had learned in the class and performed for our guests.
It was so much fun and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience so much so we are already planning another dance class 💃🏻

Fun exercise to ABBA last term. The teacher is patient, even when I've got the steps wrong yet again! She is friendly and we have some chat and laughs too.

Marnie's classes are fun, personable and worth the time and money. Marnie constantly encourages you and despite some steps in the Beyonce class being difficult to grasp, she was patient and always encouraged you to try, try and try again until you nailed it! Loved here classes and she brings the same energy and positivity to her Zumba class.
